Tomorrow land

I have a annual pass to Disney World which I enjoy using very much being a resident of Florida I find I save a lot of money by not paying at the gate. The pass is limited to visits during the week but is okay as weekends are very crowded usually.

On this visit I went to the Magic Kingdom and my first stop was Tomorrowland as many times as I have been to Disney World I never stopped at Tomorrowland. I enjoyed the Carousel of Progress which is a travel through time in a building that rotates. The people mover which takes you through the entire world and points out the various points of interest was also very enjoyable. The Speedway ride was also a lot of fun for both the kids and adults.

We had a late lunch in the Cosmic Ray 's Starlite Café this is a very unique restaurant. When you enter the restaurant you have three different menus to choose from. They are located at three different counters numbered 1,2 and 3 they all offer various fast food items from burgers to soups and sandwiches. I ordered some chili cheese fries and was pleasantly surprised they were very good but most impressive was the condiment bar they have to spice up your meal. On this bar you will find the usual lettuce and tomato but they also had such items as mushrooms chopped onions and hot cheese sauce to add to your burger or fries if you so desire. The efficiency and service of the employees was very good. So while visiting the Magic Kingdom be sure to check out the restaurant Starlite Café in Tomorrowland you won't be disappointed.

Princess Hotel Barcelona

A few years ago while visiting Barcelona I stayed at the Princess Hotel. It was quite nice but I thought the location was a little too far outside the main city limits. The rooms were nice but they do try to charge you for all the little extras they actually charge you for ice.

The hotel is located near the beach and does have great views of the sea and the city. There is a swimming pool located on the 23rd floor and saunas and Jacuzzi on the third floor. Like I said before the hotel is located quite far from the tourist areas but there is a great Metro connection with the downtown Barcelona area. The free mini bars in the rooms are a nice touch. So when traveling to the city of Barcelona I would highly recommend the Princess Hotel.

The Po-Boy Sandwich

Pizza Lake Eloa Orlando

This Saturday I went to a parade in downtown Orlando I believe it used to be called the Orange Parade it was a nice parade with the usual firetrucks police on motorcycles and floats made up entirely of citrus.

On my way back to the parking lot we decided to have a pizza at a little café near Lake Eloa this café was located just down the street from the Public's supermarket. I can't give you the name of the restaurant because the only sign I saw said pizza. I ordered a Hawaii pizza with mushrooms it was a thin crust pizza and very good.

The menu in this place was really surprising they had things that you would find in a full Italian restaurant again I repeat the food was very good. There was a large crowd inside also coming from the parade but the staff did a good job on waiting on everybody. They also have an outside dining area with about 4or 5 tables at the entrance. The price of the meal also quite reasonable 10inch pizza a bowl of Italians soup and two drinks for $19. So if you are in the downtown area near the Publix super market I would recommend this small pizzeria.
