The Republican debate

 Last night at the Ronald Reagan library in California, the Republicans had  their second presidential debate. I don’t think there was a clear front runner or somebody who broke out. It just seem to me like a lot of fighting back-and-forth and not much was accomplished. For example, Chris Christie seem to want to go after Donald Trump did not put any new ideas forward, but I don’t think he will be around much longer anyway, as it will be harder to qualify for the next debate anyway. Mike Pence reminded me of a typical politician, promising what he was gonna do but you have to remember he was there for four years, and really didn’t accomplish much either , the governor of North Dakota didn’t seem like he could even get in the debate as he was rarely called on. He had to interrupt just to get a word in. Tim Scott sounded like some southern preacher Nikki Haley didn’t bring any new ideas forward all she did was argue with Ron DeSantis , and as far as the rest of them really didn’t put any great ideas forward that we didn’t hear in the first debate. I don’t think Donald Trump will have any problem winning the Republican primary with this bunch of candidates running against him.right now he’s about 40 or more points.ahead of the nearest competitor. I don’t see that changing anytime soon unless  there’s a complete disaster for him down the road.

Seattle, Washington

 Over the weekend I watched a program about Seattle Washington. The reporter was there, asking questions of the public about that how they felt since Seattle had defunded the police department by the way crime is up in Seattle, murder, carjackings, and arm robbery.

The citizens of Seattle deserve exactly what they get. I could not believe some of the reaction this man got to his question such as do you think the police department needed to be defunded? Their answer yes some even said it needed to be disbanded completely. One gentleman was in complete denial, saying there was no problem in Seattle that he could see, and that it was all over blown.

They also showed a local reporter on the streets where he was attacked three times by crackheads, one with a hatchet and one with a knife the other one I think had a blunt instrument. So if you’re looking for a place to go for your next vacation be sure to skip Seattle Washington you may not come back and the citizens there could give a damn one way or the other whether you come there or not because they are in complete denial. 

The golden dragon

 On Saturday we had to go to Slidell Louisiana for some appointments while there we decided to stop by the golden dragon Chinese buffet for lunch we have eaten there on several occasions and it’s always been good. This is the first time I have eaten there on a Saturday and they had an outstanding selection of food.

I had some baked salmon that just melted in your mouth. They had blue crabs and several different crab salads the the entire selection of food on the Buffay was excellent. If you are in Slidell, and want to have a great meal you should stopped by golden dragon very reasonably priced at about $15 a person.😀

Captain AL’S located on Lorraine Rd., Gulfport

 I recently had a late lunch at Captain AL’S in Gulfport Mississippi. It was a very pleasant experience as we arrive just in time for happy hour. Many of the appetizers are half price beer and wine, and sometimes menu items such as fresh oysters, as was in the case when we were there. I have to say the food was excellent and also the service I truly enjoyed my afternoon in  a great environment. so if you’re looking for a restaurant, to sit down and enjoy and afternoon meal, I strongly recommend Captain  AL’S also, you should go after 3 o’clock because it’s happy hour till six during the week.
