Just an honest opinion as we travel to places and enjoying a sumptuous food.
There are many fine Chinese buffets to eat at in Orlando. Recently a new one has opened on Semoran Boulevard not too far from the super Walmart in Castleberry.
There is ample parking and when you walk through the front door you are greeted by friendly staff and a unique decorated dining room with a large chandelier. The restaurant offers a variety of Chinese food as well as American. You can find such delicacies there as oysters on the half shell and various clams in various sauces. They also have a variety of desserts for you to enjoy after your meal. If you are looking for a unique dining experience by the good fortune buffet on Semoran Blv. In Castleberry.
If you are looking for a very prestigious hotel in New Orleans look no further than the Intercontinental.
The location of this hotel is perfect for the tourist or business traveler. You can conveniently walk to the French quarter, business district, Superdome and Bourbon Street. If is a very elegant hotel the rooms are quite large and have a great view of the city. The hotel staff are exceptional. One of the shortcomings of the hotel is no Wi-Fi only in the lobby. They do have a great free breakfast and late checkout is 2 PM. There is a nice pool on the top floor that is open to 10 PM the gym is quite nice is open 24hrs So if you are planning a pleasure or business trip to New Orleans be sure to check with your travel agent about package deals at the Intercontinental.
This Saturday I went to a parade in downtown Orlando I believe it used to be called the Orange Parade it was a nice parade with the usual firetrucks police on motorcycles and floats made up entirely of citrus.
On my way back to the parking lot we decided to have a pizza at a little café near Lake Eloa this café was located just down the street from the Public's supermarket. I can't give you the name of the restaurant because the only sign I saw said pizza. I ordered a Hawaii pizza with mushrooms it was a thin crust pizza and very good.
The menu in this place was really surprising they had things that you would find in a full Italian restaurant again I repeat the food was very good. There was a large crowd inside also coming from the parade but the staff did a good job on waiting on everybody. They also have an outside dining area with about 4or 5 tables at the entrance. The price of the meal also quite reasonable 10inch pizza a bowl of Italians soup and two drinks for $19. So if you are in the downtown area near the Publix super market I would recommend this small pizzeria.
